About
Waste Sampling & Analytical Services
Our modern labs carry out daily sampling and advanced analysis. We follow strict protocols to assess treatability and also provide specialist testing for customers and waste handlers. For routine clear-outs, our team offers waste listing, packaging and disposal quotations, ensuring compliance and safe transport.
Packaging Sales & Cleaning
We supply both new and reconditioned UN‑approved drums and IBCs, tested thoroughly to meet industry standards. Our inventory includes PE and steel drums in all sizes, new IBCs, hazardous waste labels, and vermiculite for safe packaging. Customers benefit from cost-effective reconditioned packaging or the assurance of brand‑new certified containers.
Secure Destruction & Treatment
Our large secure site allows us to collect, treat and dispose of products or waste in bulk, palletised or finished form. We prevent inferior or off‑spec products from reaching the market by fully removing associated packaging for recycling and disposing of the waste itself. Customers receive certification of secure destruction for complete assurance.
Timeline & Heritage
Our Heritage
With over 100 years of history in the town of Grangemouth, we have evolved from a manufacturing site into a specialist centre for the treatment of the UK’s waste—particularly in hazardous materials and chemical manufacturing effluents. Our deep-rooted history means we understand the needs of industry first-hand, supported by a team of experts who continue to deliver timely and effective solutions for our customers.
For decades, Earls Gate Waste Treatment has been a reliable, integrated part of the 85+ acre industrial park serviced by CalaChem. We are proud to support both on‑site and external customers with dependable industrial effluent treatment and bulk aqueous waste services, helping occupiers operate safely, sustainably, and efficiently.
As a key utility and services partner within the Earls Gate / CalaChem site, our operations contribute directly to the strong industrial ecosystem in Grangemouth and beyond — supporting chemical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing businesses with compliant, high‑capacity wastewater solutions.
